Smoking Ceremony

This traditional ceremony using Quandamooka dancers and songman can be booked for events.

A smoking ceremony is an ancient indigenous custom where our traditional Aboriginal dancers burn native fauna to produce smoke. This tradition produces cleansing properties and has the ability to ward off bad spirits from the people and the land and signifies the pathway for a brighter future.

Aboriginal Dance Workshop

$500 (2hr workshop – Max 10 people)

Our dance workshop takes you on a story-telling journey and creates a platform for the introduction to Aboriginal dance moves.

Stories weave through the fabric of Aboriginal culture. To understand the dance, you must first listen to the story it represents, then you will see it performed. Your group will be shown the movements of the dance starting with the footwork and finishing with the arm and hand movements. You will also learn about the symbolic meaning behind the different dance movements.
